Gore Bay to Bayfield Sound to Turnbull…

Following our stay at East Hotham, sitting out the heavy west winds every afternoon for several days, we’ve been on the move. We went into Gore Bay on Sunday for a needed pump-out and supplies, then escaped town for Bayfield Sound. Light winds have been forecast for the next couple of days. This is looking north from our anchorage in Cooks Bay yesterday morning. Talk about calm!

There was no wind for sailing, so we motored north to Turnbull for a couple of days of fishing and kayaking. We were treated to a beautiful sunset last evening:

From here, we are heading west to St. Joseph Island, looking forward to visiting friends, before heading home.
