We made it to Pulpwood Harbour midday, but it was a miserable morning motoring to get here: Cold, rain, wind on the nose, and building waves. To our surprise, the boat we spotted sailing up the coast turned into Pulpwood Harbour just ahead of us and are our good friends aboard Reverie. Nice to see some friendly faces after such a rough trip.
It is very deceiving here in Pulpwood Harbour this afternoon. It is perfectly calm. Hard to believe there’s so much wind just outside. According to the forecast, we can expect a very windy couple of days. We may just stay put this weekend and enjoy some down time.
P.S. This is by far the busiest anchorage we’ve been in since entering Lake Superior: 4 boats including us!
