416, 260, 88…

…were the total number of steps I took over 3 consecutive days.

I wear a digital pedometer every day. If I’m not wearing clothing with a pocket or (god forbid) forget it in the shorts or jeans I wore the previous day, I feel naked. My goal is to have 10,000 steps by the end of each day, a goal difficult to reach when we’re living aboard. Here in Florida, we generally head to shore by mid-day to shop for groceries or just take a walk. However, for 3 days last week, when we left Fort Myers Beach and headed up Pine Island Sound, we had so much wind each day that we were uncomfortable attempting to launch our dinghy to go to shore. And so we sat on the boat. Obviously, that 3rd day I barely moved!
