Santa Cruz Waterway and Interceptor Lake

We launched Thyme Hyssop & Wry this morning. Engine started right up, ran for 5 minutes, suddenly revved up and died. Two hours later, air had been bled from the system and we were finally underway. The good news: our bilge is dry!

We are spending the evening anchored just outside Interceptor Lake with the mosquitoes and noseeums. We plan to head into Charlotte Harbor in the morning and hopefully find a decent anchorage for the northerlies forecast over the next few days.

  2. Happy New Year! Glad to hear that you are on the water again. The temp at our home in MI is 14 with the wind chill bringing it down to 8. Sharon and I look forward to your posts to vicariously pass the winter hard water blues away. Be safe and enjoy.
